When I first heard of this link up, I was hooked. It's like the Newlywed Game for bloggers. Turns out my husband knows me pretty darn well. Maybe too well...
How long have we been married?
Me: 2 years and almost 5 months
Him: Since September 25, 2010 so about 2.5 years.
Where was our first date?
Me: It was a double date for my birthday to Olive Garden
Him: My college house, the (in)famous Rusty Nail. First 'date' was probably dinner and a movie I think.
Where was our first kiss?
Me: Eek, his college bedroom.
Him: My bed, for real this time.
Who said our first, "I love you"?
Me: Well, we started saying, "I heart you" and we both secretly knew what that meant. I made him say, "I love you" first, though.
Him: Me, I think, but we both knew it was coming.
What were our wedding colors?
Me: Red and black
Him: Red, black, and white I believe.
What is my most commonly used phrase?
Me: That's pretty neat.
Him: "And there you have it" jk jk, definitely "That's pretty neat"
Who is my celebrity crush?
Me: He's going to say Matt Bomer, I agree but I also think Channing Tatum is drop dead.
Him: Like there's just one... Anthony Keidis (sp?), Johnny Depp, Channing Tatum, Matthew Bomer, Tom Hardy to name a few.
If I was ordering drinks for both of us, what would I get?
Me: Vodka and some sort of energy drink
Him: Vodka tonic for me, probably vodka energy drink for you, or vodka soda.
What is the best meal I have ever cooked him?
Me: Well, he's obsessed with pizza. So I'm going to gamble and say homemade pizza.
Him: My favorite is obviously homemade pizza because I have the palette of an 8 year old... But you marinate some mean steaks too.
What is the worst meal I have ever cooked him?
Me: He doesn't think so, but I made him chicken parmesan because it's a favorite of his (that I happen to hate) and don't think it turned out well.
Him: Not sure, probably something you overcooked so it was dried out.
What is the most played song on my iPod?
Me: Currently... Castle by Macklemore
Him: Hmmmm, changes a lot, probably Lana Del Rey now? Wait, I take that back. The most played has to be one of the songs you use for dance, not sure what it would be though.
What would I say is his most annoying habit?
Me: Hiding dirty clothes from me so I don't wash them "too soon", or chewing loudly. Both equally annoying.
Him: ..... playing computer games most nights, farting, snoring, not cleaning, leaving my clothes downstairs, always being right.... Why are you still married to me!?!? I'm lucky I'm so good looking.
What is the last thing I do before I go to bed?
Me: Either blog writing or Pinterest.
Him: Brush teeth, very last thing is take off glasses and turn off the kindle.
If he could throw out one item of my clothing, what would it be?
Me: A pair of sweat pants. I wear them all the time for my job (dance teacher)
Him: All your "laundry day" underwear.
What would he say is his favorite thing about me?
Me: My sense of humor
Him: Sense of humor (you'll watch things like South Park with me) and how well you run this household!
What's my go-to drink at Starbucks?
Me: Caramel Machiatto (low fat of course)
Him: Northern light vanilla cooler before, now it's some salted caramel mocha thing.

Me: Peacoats & Plaid, duh!
Him: Peacoats and Plaid, duh, only the best blog in all of the blogosphere.

ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I thought! Although it usually doesn't annoy me unless I come home from a long night of teaching and nothing had been done and there I find him on his computer. That doesn't happen too often though, luckily :)
